The EAC informs the public that, due to a technical problem, invoices sent to a small portion (approximately 4%) of EAC customers include consumption for a period longer than the specified billing period.

Today's announcement of the EAC states that those customers of the EAC who wish to have their invoice updated and to pay for their consumption for the two months December-January, can contact the Call Center 1818 and request an update.

For those customers who do not request an update, the invoices for the next two months they will receive will be for a shorter period of consumption, since part of it has already been paid with the invoices for December - January, it is added.

The EAC expresses its apologies for any inconvenience to its affected customers, the announcement concludes.
