Police in Limassol handcuffed two people, aged 20 and 34, yesterday. In the possession of the 20-year-old was found a quantity of cannabis weighing approximately 10 kilos and 669 grams and a quantity of cocaine of 483 grams. The drugs were in an apartment in the province of Limassol.
Specifically, members of the Limassol Drug Enforcement Service, after evaluating information on drug trafficking, stopped two suspicious vehicles in an area of the city yesterday for inspection.
Investigations that followed in the two cars, with responsible drivers 20-year-old and 34-year-old, found a small amount of cannabis, resulting in the arrest of both for spontaneous offenses.
With the written consent of the 20-year-old, a search was conducted in his apartment, during which approximately 10 kilos and 669 grams of cannabis, approximately 483 grams of cocaine, two precision scales with traces of cocaine and cannabis, as well as other items were found.
A warrant was issued against the 20-year-old and he was arrested to facilitate the investigations. As for the 34-year-old, he pleaded guilty to possession of 5 grams of cocaine and after being charged in writing, he was released.
