A seventy-six-year-old woman was allegedly found to have stolen alcoholic beverages and other products from a market in Paphos and was arrested to facilitate investigations.
According to the Assistant Police Director of Operations of Paphos Michalis Nikolaou, on April 10, 2024 at 17:30 p.m., a worker in a supermarket in Paphos noticed an elderly woman leaving the supermarket without going through the cash register and paying for products, which she had allegedly hidden previously in a bag.
It stopped and the Police were called to the scene. As it turned out, this is a 76-year-old woman.
After an investigation, it was established, according to the Police, that he had seized a number of alcoholic beverages and some other products.
The 76-year-old was taken to the Offices of the ADE Paphos, she pleaded guilty and was subsequently accused in writing and released to be summoned later.
