With the help of the army, the 18-year-old national guard was arrested, who had been wanted since yesterday for killing his neighbor's dog and injuring a second dog, with a shotgun.

The case was reported on Monday night by a 61-year-old resident of a village in Limassol province, according to which he heard a shot outside his house and then saw his 18-year-old neighbor pointing to the ground with a shotgun and shooting twice.

Shortly afterwards, the 61-year-old located his dog in his yard, who had gunshot wounds, while later he located his second dog in an adjacent field, also wounded by a gun. The two dogs were taken to the home, where one succumbed to his injuries.

An arrest warrant was issued against the 18-year-old national guard and after it was established that he had already gone to his unit, the assistance of the army was requested, which handed him over to the police authorities.
