16 patients were given the antiviral pill Molnupiravir as treatment for coronavirus on the first day of administration.
SigmaLive contacted the Deputy Director of Pharmaceutical Services, Elena Papanagiotopoulou.
He explained that the antiviral pill is prescribed by Personal Doctors, but also by Doctors of various specialties.
He added that the Molnupiravir pill is not for the general population but for high-risk groups.
Regarding the deal, he clarified that four pills are given in the morning and four pills in the evening for five days.
