Maliciously, it seems that a fire broke out, which broke out around 3 in the morning, in a car that was parked outside the house of its 25-year-old owner in the area of Engomi, in Nicosia.
A representative of the Communication Branch of the Police Headquarters told KYPE that members of the Police and the Fire Service rushed to the scene for examinations, which extinguished the fire.
The vehicle, worth 5 thousand euros, was completely destroyed.
From the first examinations at the scene, we have indications that the fire was set maliciously and it is believed that it is an arson, said the representative of the Communication Branch of the Police Headquarters.
He added that the scene was put under guard to be examined in the morning by the Police and the Fire Brigade to determine the exact causes of the fire.
The case is being investigated by the Nicosia TAE.
