The 28 complaints for violation of the protective measures against the coronavirus were made by the Police as part of the nationwide checks carried out for the implementation of the measures to limit the disease.
A representative of the Police stated to KYPE that in the last 24 hours a total of 797 checks were carried out throughout free Cyprus. Of the complaints, 17 concerned citizens and 11 premises.
In particular, in Nicosia, 135 inspections were carried out with 7 complaints from citizens, while in Limassol, 122 inspections were carried out with 4 complaints from businesses and 2 citizens. In Larnaca, two complaints were made (one to a citizen and one to a property) out of a total of 182 inspections, while in Paphos, after 101 inspections, 4 complaints were made to property and 2 citizens.
In Famagusta 123 inspections were carried out with 2 complaints of premises and 2 citizens, while in the area of Morfos 2 complaints of citizens were made after 94 inspections.
