The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth (Ministry of Culture) informs the parents / guardians that, after the new decree of the Minister of Health, dated January 8, 2021, for the implementation of stricter measures aimed at tackling the Koronovirus pandemic COVID-19, registrations / transfers to Kindergartens and Primary Schools for the school year 2021-2022, will be made with some variations. Therefore, the previous announcement, dated 20 December 2020 (internet announcement no. Ypp 11579), is canceled.
Specifically, registrations will be conducted against during the period 12-15 January 2021. For most students, registration will be by telephone (for Primary Schools) or by completing a form that will be promoted through the children (for Kindergartens).
Only students enrolling for the first time in this school will be required to visit the school / parent / guardian simply to place in the enrollment box, which will be located in the courtyard or other prominent location in school premises, a closed file containing the application for registration or transfer together with all the necessary documents / certificates. Pursuant to the relevant decree of the Ministry of Health, parents / guardians will be allowed to visit the school to register their child, sending an SMS with code 4 for "Absolutely necessary visits to state services, services of the wider public sector and local government." At the same school premises, parents / guardians who do not have internet access will be able to find copies of the necessary registration and transfer forms. In these cases, parents / guardians are invited to visit the schools simply to obtain the forms. Do not stay at the school to complete them. Please note that parents / guardians who have access to the internet and a scanner or related mobile phone / tablet application can send the necessary forms / certificates / documents via e-mail to the school e-mail address and at this stage no need to go to it. With the reopening of the schools, the original forms / certificates / documents will have to be submitted to the school.
