Valentino Murder: Footprints and ammunition found

Nea Famagusta, Ormidia, Panagiotis Kallitsionis, fanos kalopsidiotis, FONOS

In a gangster criminal act on Thursday night, unknown individuals pulled out a 29-year-old man from Ormidia, who was a person who "knew a lot" about the actions of many in free Famagusta. It is about Panagiotis Kallitsionis, otherwise Valentinos, who in 2016 was injured by a bullet, as he was among the people who accompanied the businessman Fanos Kalopsidiotis, on the night of his murder.

The day before yesterday is the fourth crime in the last eight years, which is committed at the end of June and is related to the Kalopsidiotis family. On June 23, 2012, the five-time murder in Agia Napa was committed with the victims of five security guards of Fanos Kalopsidiotis. On June 20, 2014, the murder of Giannos Kalopsidiotis, Fanos' father, was committed. On June 23, 2016, the four-time murder was committed with the victims Fanos Kalopsidiotis, the couple Hatziefthymiou and one of the perpetrators. The day before yesterday, the murder of Panagiotis Kallitsionis, who worked for Fanos Kalopsidiotis until his murder, was added to the blood chain.

The fact that all the crimes took place in June is being taken seriously by the Police, in terms of the possible direction that the investigations should be taken to investigate the case. According to one scenario, the assassination of Valentino, as Kallitsionis was known, was another blow to the "camp" of the former state of Fanos Kalopsidiotis, in the nightlife of free Famagusta. At the same time, however, the fact that Valentinos had many open fronts due to his activities is also a cause for concern for investigators.

As for Thursday's events, the police kept their papers closed. However, according to the information so far, the 29-year-old seems to have known and feared something lately and that is why he chose some nights and slept in his paternal home in Ormidia and not in the apartment where he lived with his family elsewhere. However, his executors appear to have been watching and recording his movements, and it is probably no coincidence that they acted to assassinate him. It was just before 11 pm when the 29-year-old came out of the kitchen door to his paternal home. Although the house is located on the main road Ormidia-Xylotymbou, the executor or executors (the second scenario seems more prevalent), they knew how to hide in the area. According to the first indications, they were lurking behind bushes east of the house, where there are no other houses nearby. As soon as Kallitsionis left and while he was still on the kitchen veranda, he was shot three times, according to the available information.

The screams of despair and terror of his parents stirred up the neighborhood. Terrified, neighbors tried to find out what had happened. According to reports, some people reportedly told investigators that seconds after the shooting, they heard large-capacity motorcycle markings at the scene, as it was moving away at high speed. Back on the kitchen veranda of Panagiotis' paternal home, any desperate attempts by his parents to offer him any help turned out to be in vain, as the 29-year-old exhaled.

According to the spokesman of the Famagusta Police Department, the victim had repeatedly occupied the Police, for various cases in recent years. The medical examiners Angeliki Papeta and Nikolas Charalambous performed an autopsy on the scene, while due to the measures applied for the corona, it was not known when the autopsy will be performed on the victim's body.
