A 37-year-old man was taken into custody in Paphos, in whose possession burglary tools and drugs were found on Wednesday night.
According to the press representative of ADE Paphos and head of TAE Paphos, Michalis Nikolaou, yesterday at 21:35 members of the Paphos Crime Prevention Squad spotted a person moving suspiciously. The 37-year-old was stopped and a body search of him revealed burglary tools as well as a small amount of methamphetamine, and he was taken into custody.
In the meantime, in a coordinated operation by the Police to prevent traffic collisions in the last 24 hours, 72 traffic complaints were made, of which 2 are related to driving under the influence of alcohol, 10 to driving at excessive speed and the rest to other traffic violations.
