Members of the Air Operations Unit (MAEP) of the Police on 18/3/2024, were called to rescue a young person, who fell into a 100-meter-deep ravine in the Orkoda area, territory of the village of Kalopanagioti.
Due to the topography of the terrain and the impassability of the area, a helicopter from the Police Air Operations Unit was called for assistance.
The members of the MAEP successfully completed the rescue of the young person, who was transferred to the General Hospital of Nicosia, where he was treated first and then discharged.
