According to KYPE, the epidemiologists have given their positions on the issue in writing since last Friday. The Minister has also asked in writing for their positions in relation to the so-called "mix and match", ie the vaccination with a different company or technology vaccine from the original, and for whom the third installment will be granted initially.
Part of the Scientific Advisory Committee seems to be in favor of a third dose of vaccine without the decision of the European Medicines Agency, despite the Commission's prevention of legal risks and the reservations of the World Health Organization.
The decisions and suggestions of today's meeting will be put on the table at the next meeting of the Council of Ministers.
The Minister of Health will present the data to the Minister, who will decide accordingly whether to wait for the European Medicines Agency or not.
However, the Ministry of Health is planning and is ready in case it is decided to start the administration of the third dose of vaccine.
