Yellow warning for isolated strong storms, issued by the Department of Meteorology of Cyprus, valid from 2.00pm on Thursday until 5.00pm on Friday.
Individual strong thunderstorms are expected to affect the area from time to time, the warning said. The intensity of the rain, it is added, is expected to range between 35 and 50 millimeters per hour, while hail is also likely to fall.
