The countries that act - "Red alert" to the Police

"Red alert" causes immigration in Cyprus. Literally, for the last two months, the Republic has been in the shoes of foreigners who want to be on our island for a better life. Very well organized circuits send foreigners to the Republic of Cyprus and hoard them. These circuits have a strong activity in Lebanon and Turkey while they have tentacles in Cyprus.

The spokesman of the Aliens and Immigration Service, Petros Zenios, stressed to Offsite that "these circuits operate with great diligence, using all means. They set up an entire plan based on fictitious weddings to succeed, after securing huge sums to legalize the stay of their "clients".

As he said after the tragic developments in Lebanon, the traffickers work with immigrants from Lebanon and clearly Turkey. If we consider the issue of the coronavirus then the problem grows since the Police must prevent the entry of foreigners from category C countries.

They are not in danger with traffickers

Mr. Zenios was asked to comment on the complaints made that migrants were left at sea fifteen days ago for too many hours resulting in minors being transported to the Hospital due to heatstroke. As he stated, "our goal is to help foreigners. But because of the coronavirus we are very careful. Responding to this complaint, he stated that "that is, there is no serious danger for foreigners who get on boats at the request of traffickers who pay gold and spend endless hours at sea" ?.

The spokesman of YAM revealed that a chartered flight was planned in which 120 foreigners will participate voluntarily to return to a specific country "
