The vice-president of the United Cypriot Hunters Movement, Aristos Aristeidou, denounces an attack by activists against a hunter on the show "Protoselido".

According to Mr. Aristidou, the hunter, who was in a permitted area and was waiting for dawn, noticed two activists trying to expel him from the area and prevent him from hunting.

He went on to say that some discussions had taken place and that activists were roaming the area. When the hunter shot a turtledove and went to get it, the activist took the prey and did not give it to him and an argument ensued.

The hunter, according to the complaint, lowered his weapon to avoid an accident, while the activist's companion attacked him with pepper spray, causing him to fall to the ground. The activists left and the hunter remained on the spot for several minutes until he managed to get into his car. There he found that the doors of his vehicle were open.

When he finally arrived at his home, he found that activists had accused him of attacking them.

He then went to the police with his lawyer.

Mr. Aristeidou spoke about organized "mercenaries", who wrote untrue facts about the incident on social networking pages, such as that they were attacked by two hunters.

He explained that these people are collaborating with some people in Cyprus, while he spoke about attempts to provoke, in order to record incidents with hunters.

In fact, he said that they went to do an activism in a hunting area and one of the girls was wearing a hat with the pseudo-state logo.
