An extrajudicial fine of 2.000 euros was imposed on a 36-year-old man who was found hunting in a prohibited area.
According to the Police yesterday, members of the Thira Fund located a 36-year-old man from a village in Paphos District who owned a beam in a rural location in Pegeia.
The above location is prohibited for hunting.
The 36-year-old was taken to the Pegeia police station where the beam and nine full cartridges were received as evidence. An extrajudicial fine of 2.000 euros was also issued against him.
The Pegeia police station is investigating the case.
