Police are investigating a case of burglary of a pharmacy, theft and possession of burglary tools during the night against a 27-year-old

Paphos Police are investigating a case of burglary of a pharmacy and theft, possession of burglary tools during the night, against a 27-year-old man who allegedly had his face covered with a mask in order to commit a felony.

According to Paphos Assistant Police Director Michalis Ioannou on 17.1.22 at 18:25 he was reported to the Paphos Crime Detection Department by a 55-year-old pharmacy owner located in Geroskipou that on 16.1.22 from 05:30 to 05:45 his pharmacy was broken into located in Geroskipou.

The alleged perpetrator allegedly withdrew from the pharmacy an amount of approximately 800 euros and various pharmacy products of currently unknown description and value for which he will make a count by preparing a relevant list.

Immediately after the complaint, members of TAE Paphos went to the scene and from the examinations they performed, it was found that the main entrance of the pharmacy was violated, apparently with a sharp object.

Members of TAE Paphos received the closed circuit of the pharmacy, which after being utilized and evaluated properly seems to have led to the recognition of a 27-year-old as the perpetrator.

An arrest warrant was issued against him.

The exams are continued by TAE Paphos.
