The Office for Combating Cybercrime of the Police Headquarters, proceeded today on the basis of a court order to arrest a 38-year-old, in the context of the investigation of a case of possession / distribution of child pornography.
The arrest of the 38-year-old was preceded by an evaluation of information by Europol, that a user of a specific social networking platform, sent to other persons, a video of sexual abuse of a minor.
From the examinations that followed, it was found that the user of the specific account was the 38-year-old. During a search of his home, based on a court order, a mobile phone was located and received as evidence, which will be sent for scientific examinations.
The Cybercrime Office of the Police Headquarters continues the examinations.
