In the last 220 hours, the Police proceeded with 2 complaints of citizens and 24 complaints of premises for violation of the measures to limit the spread of the coronavirus disease.
In statements to KYPE, a representative of the Communication Branch of the Police Headquarters stated that from 06:00 on Sunday until 06:00 on Monday, 11.816 inspections were carried out, which resulted in 220 complaints from citizens and 2 complaints from premises.
Regarding the inspections by province, in Nicosia 2.879 inspections were carried out and 37 complaints of citizens emerged, while in Limassol 2.265 inspections were carried out with 91 complaints of citizens and one in a property.
In Larnaca, 1.646 inspections were carried out with 29 complaints from citizens, in Paphos, 1.566 inspections were carried out with 30 complaints from citizens and an establishment, in Famagusta, 1.492 inspections were carried out with 18 complaints from citizens and in the Morfos area, 973 inspections were carried out with 6 complaints from citizens.
Also, throughout Cyprus, the Traffic Police carried out 933 inspections, from which nine complaints emerged, while the MMAD carried out 5 inspections without any complaints.
In ports, the Police carried out 57 inspections, which did not reveal any violation.
