Five deaths and 2.482 new cases announced by the Ministry of Health for the week of September 9-15, 2022

Five deaths and 2.482 new cases were announced by the Ministry of Health for the week of September 9-15, 2022.

A total of 61.364 diagnostic tests were performed and the positivity rate is 4,04%.

According to an announcement by the Ministry of Health, five deaths occurred during the week. They relate to a man, aged 78, who died on 09/09/2022, a woman, aged 86, who died on 10/09/2022, a man, aged 94, who died on 13/09/2022, a woman, aged 94 years old, who died on 14/09/2022 and a man, aged 91 years, who died on 15/09/2022.

The total number of deaths with the ultimate cause of the disease COVID-19 rose to 1.178.

Meanwhile 47 patients COVID-19 are hospitalized in OKYpY hospitals, 5 in serious condition (ICU: 0 off ventilator/1 intubated, MAF: 4) while 3 patients who have ceased to be infectious continue to be intubated due to COVID in the Intensive Care Unit.

2.396 molecular tests were performed and 143 positive cases resulted with a positivity rate of 5,97%.

Also, 58.968 rapid antigen detection tests were performed and 2.339 positive cases resulted with a positivity rate of 3,97%.

Through tracing, 4 molecular tests were performed and no positive cases were detected (positivity rate 0%).

From the private initiative, 2.102 molecular tests were carried out, 117 positive cases were identified (5,57% positive rate). Also, 41.538 rapid antigen detection tests were performed and 2.226 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 5,36%).

Through the programs of the Ministry of Health, 17.430 rapid antigen detection tests were performed. 113 positive cases were identified.

At the sampling points, 9.689 rapid detection tests were carried out and 60 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 0,62%).

In the National Guard, 136 rapid antigen detection tests were performed and 10 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 7,35%).

4.540 rapid antigen detection tests were performed in nursing homes, 35 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 0,77%).

In closed facilities, 3.065 rapid antigen detection tests were performed and 8 new cases were detected (positivity rate 0,26%).
