Seven people, who are asylum seekers, were arrested by the Police as they allegedly tried to travel from Larnaca airport to various European countries with forged travel documents.
According to the Police, between the dates of August 27-30, seven asylum seekers from the same African country were arrested by the Larnaca TAE, who tried to travel from Larnaca airport to various European countries, with forged travel documents. Of the seven, five are men aged 35, 25, 27, 20 and 28 and two women aged 21 and 26.
The offenses investigated against them are forgery and the circulation of a forged document.
The seven people detained under the detention orders are expected to be charged within the week before the Larnaca District Court.
