A 28-year-old woman from Ukraine was found dead in the morning, in a steep area, near Petra tou Romiou.
The body was found on a cliff a hundred meters deep, resulting in instant death.
According to the information so far in the possession of the police, the 28-year-old went in her own vehicle to the area, where she met her expatriate friend, 30 years old. The latter was also the person who alerted the police to rush to the scene.
The 30-year-old claims that the unfortunate woman, in her attempt to take pictures of the area, lost her balance and fell into the void.
According to the head of the TAE Paphos, Michalis Nikolaou, the police are investigating all possibilities, not ruling out criminal activity.
Due to the impassability of the area, a helicopter was called to retrieve the body.
