Serious injury to a 28-year-old with a buggy - Risk of amputation

Paphos Police is investigating a case of serious facial injury. A statement from the Police Headquarters states that a 28-year-old man from Britain was taken to Polis Chrysochous Hospital last night, after he was seriously injured. According to the doctor on duty, the 28-year-old suffered a serious injury to his left wrist with the risk of amputation.

The injured person was then transported by ambulance to a private clinic in Limassol and underwent surgery to reattach his arm and restore his wrist.

From the preliminary examinations of the police station Polis Chrysochous, the 28-year-old is said to have been injured after a car accident with a "buggy" type vehicle, however at this stage the 28-year-old is not able to provide information about the accident.

The conditions of the 28-year-old's injury are being investigated by the Paphos Police.
