Kyriakos Hatzigiannis in Warsaw for the human dimension of the OSCE

The Member of Parliament, Kyriakos Hatzigiannis, is going to Warsaw on Monday to take part in the work of the OSCE Meeting on the Implementation of the Human Dimension, on 16 and 17 September, during which the compliance of the OSCE member states on the commitments made in the field of the human dimension of the Agency.

Specifically, a Parliamentary statement states that the meeting, organized by the Office of Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) of the Organization, with the participation of representatives of civil society, aims to evaluate the implementation by the participating States of the Organization of the Communities of the human dimension of the OSCE.

He adds that Mr. Hatzigiannis will take part in the opening session of the Meeting and in the thematic sections, which concern the freedom of expression and the freedom of the Media.

Mr. Hatzigiannis participates in the meeting in the capacity of the Chairman of the Committee for Democracy, Human Rights and Humanitarian Issues of the Central Committee. OSCE.

On the sidelines of the meeting, he will host an event, in which he will present the most important contributions of the OSCE Joint Committee in the field of human rights. A representative of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, as well as a representative of the non-governmental organization Human Rights Watch were invited to participate in the event as speakers.
