The case of the attempted abduction and seduction of a 14-year-old Greek Cypriot woman in Paphos with a alleged perpetrator, a 62-year-old foreigner, seems to be taking on dimensions.
According to the Cyprus Times, after the incident and after she managed to escape, the 14-year-old went to her house and reported everything she experienced to her father, with the 62-year-old not putting it down and following her in his vehicle until her house. The 14-year-old, after informing her father, got into the car and started following the suspect.
The alleged kidnapper went to a neighboring village and to the house of a friend. The father of the minor followed him and after they arrived at the said house he asked his daughter to point out the person who tried to grab her. The minor recognized the would-be perpetrator and then the father, furious, started loading the 62-year-old.
The two men were held in the hands. Due to the beatings he suffered, the 62-year-old was transported to the hospital where he was kept for treatment and was arrested a little later by the authorities. It should be noted that the suspect does not cooperate with the investigators while he will be accused of the crime of the joint attack against the father of the minor, while it is not excluded that the latter will be arrested for the same crime.
It is recalled that the incident occurred last night when the 62-year-old, driving his vehicle, met the 14-year-old Greek Cypriot on a road in the province of Paphos and suggested that they go by car to Ayia Napa. The 14-year-old also refused with the perpetrator getting out of the vehicle and grabbing the little one by the hand. The minor resisted and started running towards her house with the perpetrator continuing to follow her.
