A new case of child pornography is being investigated by the Police, whose members arrested the 52-year-old today, for the purpose of police examinations.
The 52-year-old was arrested on Sunday afternoon, by members of the Cybercrime Investigation Branch, after evidence emerged against him during the investigation of information received by the Branch for possession and possible distribution through e-mail account, of child sexual abuse material.
During an investigation conducted by members of the Cybercrime Investigation Branch at the suspect's home, a tablet computer and a mobile phone were found and seized for judicial examination.
The Cybercrime Investigation Division continues the examinations.
