Today, Friday, the draft of the road map, concerning its management planning, is being put before the Specialists COVID-19 the next months.
The road map will be put on the carpet at the meeting scheduled for 10am with the members of the Advisory Scientific Committee and the Minister of Health, Michalis Hatzipantela.
As the KYPE is informed, the road map is divided into pillars that concern, among other things, the strategy to increase the vaccination coverage of the population, the epidemiological surveillance system that includes the testing, as well as the management of cases in hospitals.
Besides, the protocols prepared by the Ministry of Education will be put before the Experts and will be implemented at the beginning of the new school year.
Specifically, the use of a protective mask in closed spaces by students over 12 years of age will be put on the table, with scientists invited to submit suggestions or other variations.
Speaking to KYPE, the Communications Advisor to the Minister of Health, Konstantinos Athanasiou, had said that the final plan is expected to be approved before the end of the month.
