The death of Nathan Tiller, who passed away on December 4, 2021, spread grief in the British Bases.

The 36-year-old, according to the Forces page, "died of natural causes in Limassol".

The squadron joined the British Air Force in 2010 and has been involved in operations in Afghanistan.

Speaking to the same media, his commander said he was "deeply saddened" by his death in action, as he remembered him as having "excellent leadership skills, professionalism and technical expertise".
