The 57-year-old was arrested by the Paphos Police, against whom an arrest warrant was pending by the Paphos Crime Investigation Department in relation to an investigated case of obstruction of judges and intervention in court proceedings and threat - joint attack.
According to Paphos Assistant Police Director Michalis Ioannou, the suspect allegedly threatened a 75-year-old complainant, who had reported him in connection with a case of theft of aluminum from her home.
The threat, according to the complaint of the 75-year-old, was directed against her, in order to withdraw the case, which is before a court. The reported crime took place on 10.2.22 in Paphos.
The 57-year-old was arrested and then detained, while the examinations are being continued by the TAE Paphos.
