Every day, 1000 people go to the vaccination points to make the first dose after the outbreak of the cases, according to the General Director of the Ministry of Health, Christina Giannaki, at the same time that due to the measures an effort is made to increase the sampling points by the Ministry.

Speaking on the show Mesimeri kai Kati, Ms. Giannaki said that the percentage of vaccination coverage in the general population with the 1st dose reached 73% and 70% fully vaccinated up to the 2nd dose. In the adult population the vaccination coverage reached 86,7% for the first dose and the percentage of fully vaccinated reached a breath before 1%.

He noted that "the world is now in the throes of a crisis when it comes to vaccination. "Every day we have 1000 people in the vaccination centers for the 1st dose".

Regarding the new measures, Ms. Giannaki said that the Ministry of Health came out with new offers for mobile sampling units and the points were increased in order to meet the needs of the measures and the people to proceed to control in order to be protected.
