Members of the Police stopped yesterday for control around 6.30 pm, a vehicle driven by a 36-year-old in the province of Larnaca.
During the inspection inside the vehicle, a quantity of smoke weighing six kilos was found in a cardboard box, which the 36-year-old allegedly admitted that he bought without paying the legal duties.
The 36-year-old was taken to the Customs Department in Larnaca, where he was fined 1.400 euros, while the duty-free items were confiscated.
