Two people in custody in Paphos for illegal possession of property

Two people were detained for illegal possession of property to facilitate investigations.

  1. According to a representative of the Paphos Police Department, information was given that two people were allegedly unloading copper pipes from a vehicle that was in the parking lot of an apartment building.

A patrol of ADE Paphos went to the place, which located a 35-year-old man. The 35-year-old stated that he did not know anything and that the copper pipes belonged to the driver, who at that time had gone to the kiosk.

The driver, 32 years old, did not return. Police proceeded to arrest the 35-year-old, who was located at the scene for illegal possession of property, while arrest warrants were issued for both persons.

A short time later, the second person was arrested. The examinations are continued by the Paphos Police Directorate.
