The candidate with the Democratic Party for the 2021 parliamentary elections will be the former Director of the Fire Service, Markos Trangolas, who, speaking to AlphaNewsLive, confirmed the rumors.
"I will be a candidate, God willing, in the 2021 parliamentary elections because I have learned for a lifetime to serve the people and I feel that I still have the strength to serve the people."
"I do not belong only to Marco Tragola and his family, I am part of this people and because there are some things, especially in matters of health, safety and so on that need to be highlighted and improved, I will be a leader on these issues." Mr. Tragolas continued.
It is recalled that Mr. Tragolas retired from the Fire Service last year and had shown interest in the elections for the City of Famagusta after the sudden death of Alexis Galanos and the vacancy, but finally decided not to run.
