Financial assistance to the victims in Attica - How you can help from the free province of Famagusta

Read the press release published on the facebook page of the Holy Diocese of Constantia and Famagusta.

Today, Wednesday 25 July 2018 at 10:30 am took place in the Holy Diocese of Constantia and Famagusta in Paralimni under the chairmanship of the Most Venerable Metropolitan of Constantia and Famagusta Mr. Vassilios, a coordination meeting between the representatives of the Municipalities, the Police Defense, the Army and the media of the Province of Famagusta, on the subject of supporting the fire-affected areas and our affected fellow human beings in Greece.

After receivedif the real needs are taken into account, as expressed by the affected Greek local authorities, it was decided unanimously by all stakeholders not to send clothes and food, since for this issue there is already fullness and perhaps over-coverage of existing needs.

Instead, a coordinated District BLOOD DONATION will take place in collaboration with the Blood Bank of the General Hospital of Famagusta, tomorrow Thursday 26/7/2018 from 4 p.m. - 9 p.m. at the Spiritual Center of the Metropolitan Church of Agios Georgios Paralimni located next to the Holy Diocese of Constantia Famagusta. It was also decided to financially support the victims through the following actions:

-Funder that will be held by the Holy Diocese of Constantia - Famagusta in all the Temples of our Province after the Divine Communion on Sunday 29/7/2018

-Duplicates for the collection of financial contributions, which have been given to the Municipalities of Paralimni, Ayia Napa, Deryneia and Sotira, where citizens can apply to contribute financially with any amount they wish.

The charity fundraiser will last from July 26 to August 15, 2018 and the total amount that will be collected will be announced by the Holy Diocese of Constantia - Famagusta, which in consultation with the Municipalities and the organized bodies of the Province will decide how to dispose of it. constructive and beneficial to those directly affected.
