The Auditor General finds mismanagement in the Office of the Commissioner for Legislation and Protection of the Rights of the Child.

The report states that procedures were followed that contradict decisions of the Council of Ministers and agreements were concluded, which do not guarantee the public interest. Odysseas Michailidis refers, among other things, to suspicions of abuse of the right to sick leave and others.
There is also a report of apparent embezzlement of public money and it is pointed out that without any procedure, a particular lawyer is paid exorbitant amounts with unclear duties, which, among other things, concern the control of the work of other lawyers who were also selected as experts.
The Audit Office considers unacceptable the position of the commissioner that only the specific lawyer gains her trust.
