President Anastasiadis described the years of his rule as the only period in the history of the Republic of Cyprus, during which scandals of entanglement and corruption are brought to justice, regardless of whether they concern famous people, politicians or other officials.
This, he stressed, is credited not only to the Government, but also to independent institutions, such as the Attorney General, the Legal Service, the Police, the Auditor General and of course to the general justice system.
President Anastasiadis, who spoke at the inauguration of the Police Station in Agros, assured that the Government will continue to implement its declaration that there will be no tolerance in corruption cases, wherever it comes from.
The President of the Republic also expressed pride, because as he said, the current Government may have been accused of many by the opposition, but not for unworthiness or for unworthy recruitments and promotions in the Police, but also in the Public Service.
President Anastasiadis also inaugurated the Citizen-Cypriot Post Center in Agros, the inauguration of the Historical and Folklore Museum in Agios Theodoros Pitsilias and the inauguration of the Multipurpose Hall in Kalo Chorio, Limassol.
