The presence of the Egyptian President in Cyprus with a significant number of Ministers, is another milestone for the further strengthening of ties between our peoples, said the President of the Republic in a new message on Twitter shortly after arriving at the Presidential Palace in Abdel Fatah Al Sisi.
As he stated, "I am honored and pleased to welcome President Al-Sisi to Cyprus. The presence of the Egyptian President here with a significant number of Ministers, is another milestone for the further strengthening of the ties between our peoples ".
In the meantime, the extended talks of the delegations of the two countries continue.
President Sisi began an official visit to Cyprus today. Afterwards, Memoranda of Understanding will be signed between Cyprus and Egypt and Anastasiadis and Sisi will make statements.
The visit comes a day before the Tripartite Meeting of Cyprus, Greece and Egypt, which will also take place in Nicosia, with the participation of Presidents Anastasiadis and Sisi and Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras.
