This incident is not unknown to us, but also other incidents similar to it, said the new Minister of Defense Vassilis Palmas, when asked to comment on the fortification works being carried out by the occupying army on the borders of the green line in Denia.
Speaking at the Ministry of Defense portfolio handover/receipt ceremony, Mr. Palmas said that "it is well known the way the occupying forces approach various issues related to these issues."
"I am sure that the EF and the (outgoing) Minister know very well about this issue," he added.
The outgoing Minister of Defense, Michalis Giorgallas, requested that the new Minister be allowed to be informed, before making statements.
