The Movement for the Salvation of Paphos is collaborating with all the bodies and representatives of the city and the Province of Paphos with the aim of transporting AXIK from Nicosia to Paphos.
In a statement, the Movement notes that it should be understood that Paphos, as one of the main blood donors of the economy and despite the declarations of successive governments, continues to be the poor relative in terms of infrastructure and especially in the issue of educational institutions, while refers to an attempt to undermine the effort.
Paphos, it is added in the announcement, gathers almost 40% of the tourism with about 30 thousand beds in its assets and demands and has every moral reason the transfer of AXIK to Paphos, a move that will give - estimates the Movement - new dynamic and vertical increase the number of students, solving on the one hand the problem of understaffing of the tourism industry with local potential and on the other hand would help to fight unemployment.
Finally, the Movement for the Salvation of Paphos calls on all competent bodies to take coordinated action to move the Institute from Nicosia to Paphos.
