Recipe for Rice with mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 white onion, cut into cubes
  • 3 cloves garlic, melted
  • 250 gr. mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/4 tsp. dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp. parsley
  • 1 1/3 cups Jasmine rice tea
  • 3 cups Tea with vegetable broth
  • Salt Pepper
  • Fresh, chopped chives (optional)

Implementation

step 1

Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.

Saute the onion until soft - about 5 minutes. Add the garlic and sauté for another minute, stirring constantly.

Add the mushrooms, thyme and parsley and mix. Cook until the mushrooms are soft, about another 5 minutes.

Add the rice and the broth and mix everything together, after seasoning with salt and pepper. Bring to a boil and then lower the temperature. Let the rice cook for 20 to 25 minutes or until all the liquid is absorbed and the grains are soft.

Optionally serve the mushroom rice with a little fresh chopped chives.
