An online revelation for the new generation, the fifth in a row, of Kia's global best seller, the Sportage, which for the first time in its history will have a version specially developed for Europe.
The new Sportage follows Kia's new Opposites United design philosophy, which first appeared in the electric EV6. Here it is characterized by the Digital Tiger Nose, which is the evolution of the well-known Tiger Nose mask by Kia and covers the entire width.
At the same time it is combined with LED daytime running lights that have a boomerang shape and extend between the hood and wings. At the same time they separate the spotlights from the mask and create a luminous identity.
The interesting interior design is determined by the large curved screen, which although it looks uniform but in practice consists of the digital instrument panel and the screen of the advanced infotainment system. Other features are the two-tone dashboard, the design of the air vents and the rotary selector of the automatic transmission.
The new Kia Sportage will use the Hyundai Tucson chassis, with which it will share the engines. The base will be the 1.600 cubic meters with mild hybrid assistance 48V for both petrol (150 and 180 hp) and diesel (136 hp), while the range will include both hybrid (230 hp) and plug-in hybrid version (265 hp), as well as four-wheel drive versions.
The new Kia Sportage will be available in Europe and Cyprus later this year.
