The murder of George Floyd by police officer Derek Chovin in Minneapolis about three weeks ago, brought an outburst of rage to the American big cities. An outbreak, however, that is neither unprecedented nor a possibility nor the last time we will see it. The United States has experienced similar uprisings at other times and perhaps even more violent ones. For the same reasons and occasions.

For many, this "fire" that broke out in Minneapolis and spread to almost every corner of the country, even in front of the White House, it was utterly fair. For others it was too much.

There are those, however, who see it as a good opportunity to advance their own agenda. Even if they need to "ally" for a while with those who are their enemies…

No one disputes that anger abounds in African-American communities. The vast majority of conflict mobilizations are organized by blacks and they are the ones who support them with their mass presence. The whites who participate in them are solidarity, left, anarchists and its members in general, targeted by Donald Trump, Antifa movement.

Almost everything has been analyzed about the form of the mobilizations, the motives of their organizers and what all this deplorable situation can lead to.

In recent days, however, the American media has begun to unfold what is below and beyond the obvious.

What they reveal in their reports (often with the help of active citizens through social media), is the unknown war that is going on and which reveals how deeply divided the superpower is and under what conditions it will lead in about five months. from now on at the polls.

Far-right and neo-Nazi groups are taking advantage of the uprising over Floyd's assassination to advance their civil war agenda.

The media they use range from a simple fake message on some social media, to the overt appearance of small far-right groups that, wielding automatic weapons, try to infiltrate the demonstrations.

Earlier this month, CNN reporter Donie O'Sullivan discovered (with the help of users) a threatening message on twitter that allegedly came from a antifa group calling on black protesters to attack white neighborhoods, destroy them and take back everything that belongs to them.

An investigation, however, revealed that the "Antifa_Us" account was managed by members of the "Identity Evropa" organization, a neo-Nazi group, made up of proponents of "white supremacy!

Twitter deleted the specific account but it remains unknown how many demonstrations started from such fake calls.

It is not uncommon, after all, for the television camera to catch black protesters during episodes stopping whites who smashed and destroyed shops and cars.

In addition, there are those who go one step further and try to provoke the violent intervention of the police, in order to disperse anti-racist demonstrations.

One of these cases was recorded from mobile phones during a rally in Riverside, California where A white man stopped his vehicle in the middle of a demonstration and tried to leave something on the street that looked like an improvised explosive device or a powerful firework. The peaceful protesters, however, realized his intentions, threw the bottle of explosives back into the car and then chased the unknown man who hurried to disappear.

But perhaps what really sparked the conversation about the real motives of those behind such actions is the arrest for inciting violence by three far-right activists in Las Vegas. A Molotov cocktail was found inside their vehicle as they tried to break into a peaceful demonstration. But that, as it turned out, was the least.

The investigation of the prosecutorial authorities revealed that the three arrested are… known and not exceptional for the far right their action and members of the armed far-right movement called Boogaloo Bois!

Their trademark is the heavy armor they wear, the camouflage uniforms and the… Hawaiian shirts which came from the og conspiratorial variant of Boogaloo Bois in "Big Igloo", "Boojahadeen" and of course in "Big Luau" to avoid deletions of their profiles in social media.

A seemingly silly outfit that, within the ranks of their movement, however, signifies a commitment to a violent and highly divisive ideology.

They got their name from the 80's movie "Breakin'2: Electric Boogaloo", which although a sequel was considered identical to the first movie that was released just seven months earlier. So they too, hope that the "coming" tribal civil war which they consider to be preparing, will be the same as the first.

It is essentially a paramilitary movement with many, small and scattered groups throughout the United States.

Their rhetoric may be far-right or even neo-Nazi, but that does not stop them from potentially seeing themselves as "allies" even blacks as long as they have an "armed" orientation.

Protests against police brutality over the assassination of George Floyd have been "extremely destructive" as they have been spotted in violent incidents with unsuspecting protesters and at the same time organizing armed militias with businessmen seeking to protect the area from destruction. In a few words στην "the wolf is happy in the broom"!

They appeared, with assault rifles, at protests in Minneapolis, Salt Lake City, Dallas, Atlanta, Philadelphia and dozens of other cities, often wearing their Hawaiian shirts.

Many times, in various states, trucks were spotted stopping and disembarking small groups of gunmen in places where wild incidents broke out shortly afterwards.

The last dynamic appearance of the Boogaloo Bois before the demonstrations for the assassination of Floyd was in town halls and federal buildings in various parts of the United States, when armed men went there and threatened to seize them if restrictions on the spread of the coronavirus were not lifted.

It should not give the impression that in the ideological quagmire that these people have in their minds, many, although supposedly seeking the dissolution of the state, say its defenders Donald Trump.

It is said, in fact, that at the time when the president of the USA had put up with the governors who were in favor of the lockdown, Boogaloo Bois… "photographed" when he said that the states should be freed from the lockdown of the democratic governors!

A Tech Transparency Project report published last month estimated that there are at least 125 Facebook groups (some with more than 50.000 members) dedicated to the movement's members, and more than 60% of them were created between February and April, which basically means that the Boogaloo Bois have started and are gaining momentum.

The Network Contagion Research Institute (NCRI), which is an observatory on how hate rhetoric can be moved from the internet to the real world, in a recent study highlights this as more and more Americans embrace racist and Boogaloo Bois civil war rhetoric.

Many experts have already sounded the alarm at Facebook, however, the platform continues to give space and not control what the members of the far-right movement publish, unless it concerns the… arms trade between them!

Rita Katz, a terrorism analyst and co-founder of the SITE Intelligence Group, said the far left may have people in the ranks involved in organizing riots, but the far right is more cohesive and attacks people as opposed to the symbolic. targeting buildings usually done by the far left.

"Among those seeking to take advantage of the recent protests are: neo-Nazi groups"who are using these turbulent moments to incite terrorist attacks and recruit new members," Katz said.

Far-right extremist tactics in the United States focus on "accelerating" violence between police and protesters - an idea adopted by so-called "accelerators." "Their goal is a tribal civil war that would ultimately lead to the dismantling of government through violent struggle." according to Oren Segal, vice president of the Extremism Center in the Anti-Defamation League.

"Acceleration" is the idea that supporters of white supremacy should try to increase - to accelerate - urban unrest to promote the polarization that will disintegrate the current political order.

The "accelerators" hope to provoke a series of chain reactions (one of which could result from the reduction of gun ownership in the US), with violence provoking violence and in the next stage more and more people taking part in this civil war. .

"When the ends are faced, those in the middle will be forced to choose a side and come to the side of the whites. If the violence can be increased sufficiently, the system will be exhausted and collapse and the tribal civil war will begin. This is what the supporters of white supremacy hope for ", reports The Brookings Institution, a Washington-based research and public policy team and describes a rather bleak future for the US…
