A 27-year-old man from Dasaki of Achna, who was injured in a car accident that took place last night inside the British Dekelia Bases, is being treated in the Intensive Care Unit of the Larnaca General Hospital in an extremely critical condition.

According to the Police, the 27-year-old suffered a craniocerebral injury and is bleeding internally, while his health condition is judged by the treating doctors to be extremely critical.
It is recalled that the 27-year-old from Dasaki of Achna was driving his car to Avgorou last night, inside the British Bases of Dhekelia.
At some point on the road he lost control of his vehicle and overturned in the fields.
Shortly before 3 am today, the British Base Police and the Ambulance Service were informed by a passerby.
He was transported by ambulance to the TAEP of the Larnaca General Hospital where, due to the seriousness of his condition, he was intubated.
Police examinations revealed that the 27-year-old was alone in his car.
The Police of the British Bases of Dhekelia are continuing the investigations to verify the circumstances under which the accident took place.
