A meeting was held this morning under the chairmanship of the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth Prodromos Prodromos with representatives of the organized Parents of Secondary Education, Educational Organizations and Parents' Associations of Larnaca and Famagusta as well as the Minister of Communications of the General Director of the Ministry of Finance, George Pantelis, a representative of the Police and other officials.
The meeting decided, among other things, to change from Monday and for a period of 15 days, the schedule of secondary schools in the provinces of Larnaca and Famagusta, following the presence of increased cases of coronavirus.
More specifically, according to the information, the lesson in the Gymnasiums will start normally at 7:30 and will end at 1:35 while in the Lyceums the bell will ring at 8:45 and the students will go to school at 2:50 ".
The measure will be implemented on Monday and will last 15 days while the Ministry of Education took the measure following recommendations from the Ministry of Health.
