The last two visits of the KOP for this school year took place at the Tsirio Primary School of Limassol and the Primary School of Avgoros, which aimed to introduce the children to the game of football.
The children of all the Schools that the KOP delegation has visited embraced with enthusiasm the football educational program. Boys and girls of all ages of primary school show great interest in the sport of football, knowing it, not as a competitive sport but as a recreational game.
At the 74th Primary School of Limassol (Tsirio Primary School), the educational program was attended by a total of XNUMX children of the sixth grade.
The presentation of the football educational program in Limassol was made by the Director of the Children's Championship KOP Haris Kirillou and the Head of Women's Football Development of the Federation Frosso Pekkri.
At the Primary School of Avgorou, the educational program which was done by Frosso Pekkri and the coach and football player Christina Pitsillou was attended by 40 children of the XNUMXnd grade.
This program will be enriched and expanded to even more Primary Schools throughout Cyprus with the new school year starting in September. This year, a total of eight visits were made to Primary Schools and the football educational program was attended by over 550 children, from all grades of Primary School.
