An 18-year-old man from Paralimni, who was injured last night in a motorcycle accident, is being treated in the Intensive Care Unit of the Nicosia General Hospital.
According to the Police, shortly after ten last night, information was received about a serious car accident on Cape Greco Avenue in Ayia Napa.
Men from the Ayia Napa Police Station went to the scene, who conducted examinations without locating anything in the area.
However, from further investigation, it was found that five minutes after ten o'clock in the evening, a young man, 18 years old, from Paralimni, while riding a motorcycle, under conditions under investigation, collided with sidewalk lines.
The 18-year-old was initially transported to the General Hospital of Famagusta where he underwent surgery, however due to the seriousness of his condition, he was admitted to the General Hospital of Nicosia where he is being treated by intubation in the Intensive Care Unit.
The Ayia Napa Police Station is investigating the causes of the accident and whether the motorcycle the young man was riding was normal or four-wheeled.
