A third person seems to be involved in the case of assault and causing serious bodily harm, against a 25-year-old girl, which occurred around 03.30:XNUMX on Saturday morning in a central area of Ayia Napa.
As Steve Theodoulou, press representative of the Famagusta Police Directorate, told KYPE, "the investigators of the Famagusta TAE are evaluating the visual footage secured by the closed circuit video surveillance from the area in Ayia Napa, where the attack took place. From the footage evaluated by the Police, it appears that there is a third person along with the two other people aged 22 and 30 who were arrested for the case."

Asked whether there is a racist motive in the case, as the complainant raised the issue of origin in her complaint, Mr. Theodoulou replied that "all possibilities are being investigated".
To another question, he answered that "efforts are being made to identify the third person who, from the visual footage, seems to have been with the two people who were arrested for the case on Saturday afternoon. The two individuals were brought before the Famagusta District Court on Sunday, June 4, which issued a detention order against them for four days."
