The Pancyprian Guild of Equality in an urgent letter asks the Chief of Police and the Director of the Labor Inspection Department to investigate the circumstances of the death of a designer-member of the guild at the Famagusta District Cadastral Office.
In its letter, which was made public, the union notes that the designer lost consciousness during work and later came to the conclusion that she faced psychological pressure at work.
"From the reports of her colleagues who had daily contact with her, it appears that she was under enormous psychological pressure… to manage (non-management / excessive) workload", the union states and continues: "Based on the same reports, the deceased had the intention to apply for early retirement because he had reached a critical point ".
