The service of the public is limited by the Cadastral Department due to the observance of the measures against the pandemic

The Department of Lands and Surveys in an announcement informs that, due to the need for strict observance of safety measures, in view of the Koronivos pandemicCOVID-19) and the very burdensome epidemiological picture presented today, public service has become limited.

"Therefore the public is informed that:

  • All requests for Sales / Donation / Mortgage Declarations pending at the District Cadastral Offices for which the documents have been received until 11.12.2020, will be completed by 31.12.2020
  • The receipt of documents or the scheduling of new requests for new Declarations will start from the first working day of the year 2021, ie 4.01.2021, a day on which all the required documents must be in force.
  • The District Cadastral Offices will be available to the public to discuss very exceptional cases of Sales / Donation / Mortgage Declarations, which can, if studied and deemed absolutely necessary, be processed.
  • We call on all and especially the Financial Institutions, as well as other large Organizations to demonstrate the necessary understanding in order to provide their own immediate service, as well as to avoid the risk of collapse of the joint effort we are making to deal with the pandemic.
