In the province of Famagusta, the Fire Service responded to a total of 18 calls in Xylofagou, Liopetri, Sotira and Protaras. The calls concerned 12 inflows of rainwater into homes from flooded roads and fields.

In addition, in cooperation with the local authorities, and the use of excavators, they created canals for the escape of rainwater.
